Panthera

PURE WAVE

xs62, 72, 77, 82, 90 & 96

The Panthera 4.0 quad / twin has been developed with Kauli Seadi to create a highly reactive board, especially made for side shore conditions while keeping the acceleration and upwind abilities required for onshore spots.

Its control, thanks to the typical mb-boards outline, will give a boost to all of your sessions.

Characteristics

  •

  • One Board concept

    Quad / twin fins

The wave board for side shore conditions,
while keeping speed in turns on onshore.

  • Rails

Pinched in the front and very thin in the tail enabling you to keep maximum control during your radical turns.

  • Volume

Centred under the front foot and mast track for better stability
    and perfect board balance,
reduced on the rear part ensuring the most radical turns.

  • Bottom shape

    Panthera 4.0:
Single concave to double concave under the mast foot, and ending with
a single concave at the tail for a very responsive surf type ride down the line.

  • Tail outline

Fish tail with an off-set in the rear foot for optimal responsiveness and
an even faster edging to edging.

  • Rocker

Straight for a better top speed and  instant planing,
while maintaining its ability to close turns in pure wave riding.

  • Compact shape

Increased control and driveability both on the water and in the air.

  • Footpad

Very good grip, comfortable and excellent shocks absorption.

Equipment

  •

  • Footstraps

    Comfortable and easy to adjust.

  • Double straps screws

Double screws on the rear strap and on the outside of the front strap
for higher resistance and a no twist solution.
(the lower part of the anti-twist must be removed)

  • Quad / twin

    Boxes:
Quad: 2X US-box and Slot box on the side

Quad fins for more grip on radical wave session or if you want more control in strong wind.

Twin fins for lighter wind session and when you want to boost your speed for jumping.

Technology

  •

  •

    1. EVA pads 8 mm

    2. Mix between S-glass fibre and bi-axial carbon fibre

    3. High density PVC sandwich

    4. Entirely wrapped in glass fibre

    5. Closed cells EPS core

    6. High density PVC reinforcements on all fins boxes
